Why is it so hard to understand which skins are actually worth buying?

Every time I try to pick a new skin, I feel like I’m stepping into some chaotic maze. Prices keep jumping around, different platforms show different numbers, and half the time I’m not even sure what’s considered a “normal” price anymore. I’ve tried tracking patterns, checking float values, comparing trends, but it still feels like the whole thing moves too fast. I just want to understand how people manage to keep up without constantly second-guessing every decision. Is there some simple logic behind it that I’m missing?

Honestly, I’ve had moments where I thought I finally figured out what makes a skin increase or drop in value… only for the next update or case release to completely destroy whatever theory I built. Even friends who’ve been trading longer than me can’t always predict what will happen. So it made me wonder if there’s just a more practical way to navigate this instead of trying to be some kind of market analyst every day.

What eventually helped me calm down with all that noise was getting comfortable with the idea of checking everything in one place instead of jumping between a dozen tabs. At some point I started paying more attention to how stable price ranges behave, and somewhere around that process I came across something that just made the whole thing feel less chaotic — cs2 skin market — and I noticed that once I could track items more consistently, I wasn’t panicking about missing trends anymore.
