Found a 2025 price prediction for XYO from 2022 - thoughts?

I just dug up an old price prediction article for XYO written back in 2022. It's pretty bold, forecasting the token could be worth $4-$5 by 2030 and even $10-$15 by 2040, based on its role in "user-owned data" and location verification. The analysis seemed thorough at the time, talking about its fundamentals and the shift to Web3. Looking at XYO's price now in late 2025, it's nowhere near those early 2025 projections from the article. Does anyone think there's still a long-term case for XYO, or is this a classic example of how these long-term crypto predictions almost never pan out?

Re: Found a 2025 price prediction for XYO from 2022 - thoughts?

You've hit on the key issue with most long-term crypto forecasts: they're almost always wildly optimistic. That 2022 article you found is a perfect case study. While it correctly identified XYO's unique niche in location-data verification, its price predictions have not aged well. The article's own 2025 forecast has not materialized as we approach the end of the year, which shows how difficult it is to project markets years out. The core idea of a decentralized location data network is still interesting, but the financial speculation around it often gets disconnected from reality. It's a good reminder to treat any prediction decades into the future with extreme skepticism. Here's the link to that 2022 prediction for reference: https://paybis.com/blog/xyo-price-prediction/
